Should Christians celebrate Halloween? This has become a controversial topic among different groups of Christians. You won’t actually find the term Halloween anywhere in the Bible. This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t talk about it or can’t arrive at a conclusion concerning whether we should participate in the holiday. In fact, the Bible speaks to every issue whether directly or indirectly. Because of this, Christians are free to speak into every topic in culture.

Life Together: A Mess Worth Making

God created man to be in community. It is within this community that we see the beauty of the gospel and the body of Christ. Though every Christian has an individual relationship with God, we were never meant to do life alone. Hence, the Bible often refers to Christians as brothers and sisters. In an ever busy, all consuming world, we are drawn towards individualism, which is the exact opposite of what God desires for his people. In fact, we will see that Christians today are still called to gather together because of Christ with intentional purpose. It will be messy, but life together is a mess worth making
